Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using LavaBookings you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.

2. Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

One person or legal entity may maintain multiple studio accounts, but each account must represent a real business or individual practice.

3. Subscriptions and billing

LavaBookings offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days’ notice. All fees are exclusive of VAT or sales tax unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, but annual plans are refundable within the first 14 days.

Upon cancellation your data remains accessible in read-only mode for 90 days, after which it is permanently deleted.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Send spam or unsolicited messages through our tools
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the service
• Impersonate another person or business
• Upload malicious code or interfere with service availability
• Resell access to LavaBookings without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Intellectual property

All content, code, design, and branding on LavaBookings is owned by Layernest Ltd or its licensors. You retain ownership of the data you upload, including client records, images, and service descriptions.

You grant us a limited licence to use your content solely to provide the service, for example displaying your booking page to your clients.

7. Limitation of liability

LavaBookings is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, though we will always try to resolve issues informally first.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
